Sailor Jerry x Zach Bryan
“Rot-Gut Whiskey”
This idea imagines a limited-edition Sailor Jerry whiskey created in partnership with Zach Bryan. The two share a rare lineage: Navy-bred artists who turned grit, service, and raw storytelling into American cultural icons.
Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins helped define traditional American tattooing with bold lines, vibrant color, and unmistakable Navy-influenced iconography. Decades later, Zach Bryan carved his own path from the Navy to the global stage writing songs between shifts until a campfire performance of “Heading South” went viral. He was honorably discharged in 2021 to pursue music full-time, a distinction shared only with Elvis.
To bring the collab to life, Zach would be gifted the custom Sailor Jerry × Martin guitar to perform an intimate set aboard the USS Intrepid during Fleet Week NYC, for a moment that honors service members, celebrates craftsmanship, and reinforces the brand’s deep connection to military culture and American artistry.
